| Appointments: Mary Celeste Geiger, artistic director of the Geiger Classic Ballet Academy and the Michigan Classic Ballet Company, has received the following board appointments: President of Regional Dance America National Board Parliamentarian of the MidStates Regional Dance America STUDENT NEWS: Several Geiger Ballet Academy students are auditioning for Summer Dance Programs around the country. Previous programs attended have been the Alabama Ballet, the American Ballet Theatre, Houston Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, and the Joffrey Ballet. After their month long programs, the dancers will return to Geiger Ballet for the four week August summer intensive. GCBA Dancers audition for summer programs: Five GCBA dancers auditioned for Summer Dance Programs around the country and were accepted, including Alabama Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Houston Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.
