| ATTENTION TEACHERS!!! The Michigan Classic Ballet Company would like to invite your 3rd through 8th grade students to participate in the 3rd annual production of “Nutcracker Knowledge,” an educational program including a modified performance of the “Nutcracker Ballet” designed especially for students. This FREE program educates children on the history of the Nutcracker, classical ballet, and provides an enriching and interactive experience. At the theatre, students explore a fantastic story line, elaborate costumes and sets, and between scenes are taught all about what is going on by an experienced lecturer. They are shown behind-the-scenes set changes and special effects and are invited to interact with questions and demonstrations. A curriculum guide will also be available to participating schools containing materials for teachers to use with the students before and after attending the performance.
