Renee Mueller

Renée Mueller graduated with highest honors from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in
Dance and Choreography. While at U of M, she received the Earl V. Moore award as well as the Dance Department
Merit scholarship. Renee was chosen to represent the University at the American College Dance Festival Association
where her choreography was featured in the festival’s Gala Concert.
With over 20 years of teaching experience, Renée has taught dance in the University of Michigan’s prestigious
Musical Theater Department and the University’s Theater department. In addition, she was the founder and Artistic
Director of Dance Alliance Repertory Company, an award winning youth dance company in Saline, Michigan.
She was Artistic Director for Jazz Dance Theatre and the founding member of the Peter Sparling Dance Company.
Renée has been a guest teacher at Interlochen Center for the Arts, Geiger Classic Ballet Academy, Midland Dance Festival and Bonn Germany International Dance Intensive.
Renée is currently on the faculty at Geiger Ballet and is the Assistant Director of the Geiger Contemporary Repertoire Co, and the Young Choreographer’s Project.
